Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with a strong background in AWS to join our team at STX Next S.A.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring the continuity of infrastructure operations and automation of processes in production environments. They will collaborate closely with software development teams and the IT department to ensure system performance, scalability, and security.

The responsibilities of this role include:
  • Implementing and managing tools for CI/CD process automation.
  • Configuring, monitoring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS) using Infrastructure as a Code.
  • Ensuring infrastructure security through the implementation of best practices and security tools.
  • Optimizing system performance and scalability.
  • Collaborating with software development teams to automate software development processes.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation related to configuration and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

AWS Experience: A proven experience in Cloud solutions in an engineering role, using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.

Extended EKS and ECS Experience: Extended experience in EKS, ECS.

Configuration Management: Experience in Configuration Management with good experience in at least two of the following orchestration tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt).

Security Knowledge: Knowledge of security best practices and implementation in cloud environments.

CI/CD Pipeline Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins/Git Hub Actions.

Infrastructure as a Code: Experience in using tools to define Infrastructure as a Code (e.g. Terraform/Cloud Formation, etc).

Fluent English: Fluent English (min. B2)

Estimated Salary: The estimated salary for this role is approximately $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
