Join International Paper as a Global Financial Analyst - Mill Rebate Specialist and be responsible for all accounting related to North America Mills customer rebates and broker commissions. You will create, monitor and update rebate / commission agreements in SAP, take ownership of rebate and commission accrual accounts and ensure balance is reconciled on a monthly basis.

You will meet with the Pricing Team monthly to review rebate and commission accruals and payments, calculate and post accrual adjustments as required monthly, and calculate rebate and commission payments monthly, quarterly and annually for management approval. Additionally, you will address ad-hoc requests and perform analysis as needed to support Sales Managers, Account Executives and Pricing Team.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset and ability to work later shifts to engage with the US team. You must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline and 3-5 years of combined work experience across various disciplines including finance, accounting, business analysis, internal and/or external audit. Proficient Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, v-lookup, and macros are also essential.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $80,000-$110,000, depending on your qualifications and experience. As a Global Financial Analyst - Mill Rebate Specialist at International Paper, you will have the opportunity to leverage current processes to assess potential for model extension to other North America businesses and our EMEA Converting Business.
