Forecasting and Planning Lead

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role? We are seeking a Forecasting and Planning Lead to join our team. In this role, you will create and maintain statistical forecasts for our portfolio across all time horizons and work closely with our demand planners to generate initial forecasts and analyze proposal data for new product introductions.

You will also optimize and tune statistical forecasts by updating system parameters after conducting necessary analysis to identify improvement opportunities. Your strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in driving success in this role.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain statistical forecasts for the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with demand planners to generate initial forecasts and analyze proposal data.
  • Optimize and tune statistical forecasts by updating system parameters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, applied math or other relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of advanced planning systems and their functionality.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, experience with SAP / Oracle / JDE an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in forecasting (statistical techniques, collaboration scenario modeling, parameters modeling).
