Role Overview

">

We are seeking an experienced security vulnerability analyst to join our Cyber Defense and Operations (CDO) Tribe, specifically the Threat Prevention Product Team. This role will be responsible for upholding Vulnerability Management processes across the enterprise and ensuring stakeholders' buy-in.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Information Security vulnerabilities
  • Define and measure necessary Vulnerability Management metrics
  • Combine various sources of vulnerabilities information into one coherent picture
  • Drive Vulnerability Management activities as part of a Real-time Threat Management team
  • Support identification of vulnerabilities by enhancing vulnerability identification at processing and technology level
  • Owning, managing, and maturing infrastructure vulnerability scanning process and tools
  • Supporting identification, triaging, assignment, and remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Timely responding to security threats by collaborating with other security teams
  • Providing data-driven insights into improvement opportunities for the infrastructure vulnerability management process
  • Preparing reports for technical teams and executive management
  • Driving the remediation process to ensure vulnerable assets are patched or remediated within agreed SLAs
  • Proactively researching new methods, tools, and strategies to effectively identify vulnerabilities

Requirements

">
  • A passion for security and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years working experience in security operations and advanced understanding of systems security at both technical and procedural levels
  • Good level of understanding of infrastructure vulnerability scanning tools, EDR solutions, and penetration testing results
  • Good understanding of IT fundamentals across networking, system, and application layers
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Agile mindset and basic knowledge of Scrum Team principles
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with outsourced managed services and ITIL processes
  • Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks
  • Basic familiarity with scripting programming languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python
  • Relevant expertise in working with vulnerability management tooling
  • Vulnerability remediation tools and techniques
  • System security, networking, and web applications
  • Basic knowledge on security solutions and application security controls
  • Threat Modelling experience
  • Ability to translate technical language into clear communication
  • Team player with can-do mentality
  • Ability to prioritize and see the big picture while not losing track of details
