About the Role

As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the review of global accounts payable and general ledger operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for mentoring and training junior team members, as well as collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective financial results. You will report directly to the Director of Financial Operations in Krakow.

To succeed in this position, you must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a hybrid position, requiring occasional on-site presence in our Krakow office. We are looking for a candidate who can adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Review and execute payments for global vendor invoices
  • Oversee and manage the process and accounting of T&E, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets
  • Prepare and review monthly GL account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Analyze the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss on a monthly basis to identify relationships and drivers of material account fluctuations
  • Support and review international subsidiaries' financial reporting packages
  • Mentor, train, and support junior team members
  • Partner with internal and external accounting, procurement, and FP&A teams
  • Support external audits by providing supporting schedules, reconciliations, pulling selections, and interfacing with external auditors, as required
  • Research and conclude on technical accounting matters
  • Lead ad hoc accounting projects and requests, as needed
