We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our team at PAYBACK, a pioneering company in data-based marketing. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

About the Role:

We offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with our cross-functional agile team, contributing to the development of best-in-class data products and KPIs using existing data assets. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and operating services in the cloud, ensuring high-quality delivery and seamless execution.
  • Analyzing, understanding, and accompanying requirements from ideation to end-of-life, driving DataOps excellence.
  • Contributing to solution design, encompassing development, testing, and documentation to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
  • Carrying out analyses and research to solve complex business problems, leveraging your expertise in data engineering.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders across the organization to develop innovative data products and KPIs.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Several years of professional experience as a data engineer or similar position, with a strong background in cloud computing.
  • A clean programming mindset, with expertise in agile methodologies and a passion for DataOps.
  • Solid knowledge of Google Cloud Services and Terraform, with experience in Python (Poetry, Pydantic, Google Python APIs) and working with large datasets.
  • High quality awareness, trustworthiness, and interest in new technologies, with excellent communication skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team.

Nice to Have:

In addition to the above qualifications, it's nice to have experience with Spark, Oracle PL/SQL, Airflow, Jenkins, OpenShift, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, and Kafka.

Tech Stack:

Our technology stack includes Python, Google Cloud Services (BigQuery, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, DataFlow), and Terraform.
