About the Role

As a Senior Tax Professional, you will play a key role in ensuring the fiscal quality of accounting data and providing tax reports, while managing tax issues and supporting closing activities related to tax processes. You will be responsible for complying with tax operational standards and procedures, as well as managing compliance processes in relevant areas such as VAT.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax data, performing checks and corrections with a medium to high level of complexity.
  • Provide tax reports and manage tax issues, supporting closing activities related to tax processes.
  • Comply with tax operational standards and procedures.
  • Manage compliance processes in relevant areas, including VAT.
  • Prepare data for tax declarations, completion of forms, and submission of required fiscal reports.
  • Clear and monitor VAT accounts.
  • Assist in tax audits conducted by tax authorities.
  • Ensure alignment between indirect tax filings, EU Sales Listing, and ERP-System.
  • Participate in migration and roll-in projects, playing a process expert role as needed.
  • Support in solving issues, follow up on problems, and look for solutions across the team.
  • Participate actively in meetings with business partners to share information and address various business initiatives.
  • Challenge and review current processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in tax compliance and tax accounting.
  • A university degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
  • Fundamental knowledge of tax and accounting principles.
  • An English language proficiency level of B2 or higher.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex tasks.
  • Experience with SAP would be beneficial.

Location

This role is based in Gdańsk, Poland, and reports to the Enabling Functions Division. We offer a hybrid work model, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively.
