Job Summary

This role is with Standard Chartered Bank, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. As an Outsourcing Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and SCB AG policies. You will also conduct risk assessments of outsourced activities, negotiate contracts, and facilitate communication between SCB AG and its outsourcing partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Third Party Risk Management framework, including Group and Country Regulatory Requirements, Policies and Standards through the whole Outsourcing lifecycle.
  • Work alongside the Outsourcing Owners to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Be responsible for preparing the German Risk Assessment (GRA), proposing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conducting Service Review Meetings.
  • Support Outsourcing Owners in processing of Control Risk Assessments in relevant systems.
  • Liaise with Control Groups responsible for Risk Assessments.
  • Involve in negotiating contract, monitoring service level and facilitating communication between Standard Chartered Bank AG and its outsourcing partners.
  • Ensure the respective contract owners are monitoring, reviewing and mitigating risks associated with third parties in accordance with the Third Party Risk Management framework.
  • Support the development and implementation of local Third Party Risk Management Policies and Procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that all third-party relationships are captured in a centralised inventory in a timely manner.
  • Cooperate with other TPRM departments including SCB AG 2nd line of defence, Compliance, Business Resilience, Legal, Operational Risk etc.
Requirements
  • 4+ professional experience in the compliance, governance and outsourcing environment or other related fields.
  • Relevant experience in stakeholder management (i.e. practices, leadership, effectiveness).
  • Team-oriented but also able to act with own initiative.
  • Pro-active and solution-oriented work attitude.
  • Ability to interface credibly and confidently with seniors and audiences at all levels within key stakeholder groups, and to relate to and manage people (regardless of level).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
