About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in German language to join our team at The Nielsen Company. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing targeted advice to our customers and initiating and implementing joint projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and analyze data deliveries to ensure high-quality submissions.
  • Develop and maintain an open platform for verifying, monitoring, and analyzing data deliveries.
  • Process data requests and conduct specialized analyses to provide actionable insights.
  • Automate regular reports to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
  • Verify and approve planned and necessary changes to data deliveries from international teams.
  • Conduct trend analysis and provide related analyses to support business decisions.
  • Address quality and delivery issues internally and communicate with clients via direct approach or project management tools.
  • Present clear and traceable project overviews and actionable recommendations to customers.
  • Identify new ideas and opportunities in interpreting digital data to drive business growth.
  • Support clients and their service providers in data analysis and provide analytical insights.
  • Represent Nielsen in client expert committees and workshops, coordinating with internal teams and actively participating in meetings.
Requirements
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and German.
  • Proven years of experience in data analysis.
  • A relevant university degree or tertiary qualification.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • High interest and precise standards in data science, analytics, and data quality.
  • Proficient in understanding and explaining complex census and panel methodologies to customers.
  • Proven track record in client service roles, adept at addressing data and methodology-related questions and providing data-driven solutions.
  • Good collaboration skills, working with international teams to identify customer requirements and implement solutions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of business principles.
  • Good knowledge of the media industry.
  • Passionate about building and maintaining client relationships and driving engagement.
