About This Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Process Optimization Lead to join our team at JTI. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and improving solutions within the BTS Finance Performance area with a focus on Tax Capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and improve solutions within the BTS Finance Performance area with a focus on Tax Capabilities
  • Participate in projects and process enhancements, running PoCs and prototypes in a short time, and measuring the outcome value and potential risks
  • Execute projects introduced after approved PoCs
  • Research technology and identify the best IT solutions, with a focus on SAP
Requirements
  • SAP functional consultant with a focus on Tax
  • Proven experience in FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, CO-CCM, CO-OM, CO-PCA, CO-PA, and CO-PC SAP modules
  • Familiarity with S/4 HANA environment
  • Fiori Apps configuration
  • Definition of PI or ABAP Interface programs with third-party entities (invoicing, EDI, etc.)
  • ABAP understanding (simple debugging, BAPI, BADI, User, queries)
  • Main expertise in Tax area: tax codes maintenance, VAT/Tax on Sales/Purchases, withholding tax maintenance, EDI and Idocs awareness, FI integration with MM and SD, PI, XML maintenance, electronic document exchange, BRF+, tax and legal local reporting settings, DCR – Document compliance reporting/tax reporting, ACR, Excise Tax concept, and IT solutions that could be applied
  • Tax localizations: localization solution for Spain SII, SAF-T report for Portugal, UK Make Tax Digital
  • Communication skills: effective written and speaking communication skills in presenting complex data clearly
  • Organizational/managerial skills and experience in managing small/mid-size teams in different areas
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or individually
  • Ability to work with business and coordinate IT teams to run prototypes and projects
  • Experience in Tax area as a user or in IT departments, knowledge of Tax solutions and notions to improve processes and pain points
  • Experience with S4 (and SAP BW BPC and Group Reporting)
  • Speaking business language
  • Curiosity about new technology and self-learning ability
  • Ability to accept failure and learn from it
  • Market investigation and technology trend exploration (mostly in SAP area but not limited to)
