About the JobYou will be involved in a financial project focused on data warehouse testing within the Snowflake platform. The role requires a highly skilled QA Tester who can quickly integrate into ongoing data testing processes, validate complex data flows, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with development teams to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Validate complex data flows and ensure data accuracy in Snowflake
- Create and execute test plans and test cases for data pipelines
- Perform thorough testing of all ETL and data transformation processes
- Develop automated test scripts using Python for data validation
- Collaborate with development teams to meet project deadlines
- Troubleshoot data issues using log analysis tools like Splunk
- Monitor data pipeline performance using Grafana
- Test data delivery through Kafka topics and APIs
- Validate real-time and near-real-time data scenarios
- Ensure business rules and configurations are correctly implemented
To succeed in this role, you should have strong expertise in SQL and dbt testing and experience with Snowflake and Apache Airflow.
We seek an open-minded, proactive problem-solver eager to learn and adapt to new technologies. A good understanding of monitoring tools like Grafana for data pipelines and familiarity with Splunk for log analysis and troubleshooting is also required.
