We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our Oracle database software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with experience in Oracle database design, coding, and documentation. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, facilitating collaboration with stakeholders and resolving complex technical issues.

In this role, you will create storage database structures with high-level security features, modify storage structures to adapt to changing business needs, and configure database user accounts. You will also provide training to users on accessing database information, identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning programs affecting database integrity, and establish autonomous database backups.

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will regularly update database security protocols, mitigate risks, and protect against potential threats. You will work closely with our IT infrastructure team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications.

Responsibilities

  1. Implement and maintain Oracle database software.
  2. Create storage database structures with high-level security features.
  3. Modify storage structures to adapt to changing business needs.
  4. Configure database user accounts.
  5. Provide training to users on accessing database information.
  6. Identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning programs affecting database integrity.
  7. Establish autonomous database backups.
  8. Update database security protocols.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
  2. Proven work experience as a Database administrator.
  3. Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation.
  4. Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.
  5. Knowledge of programming languages and API.
  6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to visualize algorithmic structures.
