Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Lease Accounting Specialist to join our team at Ecolab. As a key member of our Global Business Services team, you will be responsible for preparing reports and analyses in accordance with international accounting and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and analyses in terms of international accounting and financial reporting standards (ASC 842 and IFRS 16)
  • Administrative duties related to reporting software – CoStar (recording lease contracts into the system)
  • Validation of input data accuracy for Lease Templates received from Ecolab organization
  • Monitor KPIs for Lease Accounting processes within Global Business Services
  • Monitor internal Lease Accounting controls to ensure compliance
  • Work closely with other team members and Global Business Services to ensure timeliness and accuracy of month end close activities
  • Conduct ad hoc reports as required
  • Answering questions received from Local Organization
  • Template preparation for Big Vendors Leases
  • Communication and follow up on data completeness with global stakeholders

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Finance/Accounting area or equivalent accounting courses will be an asset
  • Very good English (written/oral) is requiredpositive approach to problem solving and introducing new solutions
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel )
  • User skills in CoStar software will be an asset
  • Solid communication and cooperation skills
  • Ability to work in a multinational environment
  • Ability to work in flexible hours during month close
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical abilities
