Job Summary:

We are seeking an EDI Business Solutions Specialist to join our team at DSV. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating customer business needs into technical solutions, coordinating integration projects, and collaborating with internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between end-users, customers, and developers to define project requirements and document technical specifications.
  • Support business and organizational initiatives to identify cooperation opportunities with the EDI department.
  • Maintain timely and efficient stakeholder communication regarding daily tasks and projects.
  • Communicate test results and findings to the Development Team.
  • Document testing results and support procedures to address at-risk issues.
  • Develop EDI mapping specifications using specialized software, GEFEG.
  • Experience in end-to-end integration testing, production implementation, and post-implementation support.
  • Monitor workload and deadlines, and share development project responsibilities.
  • Create and modify technical documentation.
  • Familiar with continuous integration and Agile/Scrum frameworks.

Requirements:

  • IT experience as an EDI analyst, business analyst, or similar IT background.
  • Knowledge of at least one EDI standard: UN/EDIFACT or ANSI-X12.
  • IBM Sterling Integrator and Lightwell Framework basic knowledge (good to have).
  • Specification building experience with GEFEG (good to have).
  • Experience in multicultural self-organized teams and effectively communicating with internal and external partners.
  • Familiarity with operational processes in a freight forward environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and skills.
  • Positive and effective customer support experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and tasks.
