About the Project

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team in Sweden. As part of this project, you will be developing a product aimed at automating business processes, ensuring smooth operations and eliminating unnecessary time spent on recalculating various product configurations during business negotiations.


Your Responsibilities
  • You will develop the core CPQ software for an international software company, building scalable solutions that will become part of the company's standard product offering;
  • You will implement feature requirements to enhance the functionality, usability, and performance of the company's core software, ensuring it meets evolving business needs;
  • You will work on an innovative framework designed by the client, written in Java, with opportunities for active participation in its development process;
  • You will work within an agile methodology, participating in sprints and adapting to iterative development processes for continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Strong experience with Java (17+) language, enabling you to develop robust and efficient backend solutions;
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, demonstrating a strong background in building and maintaining software systems;
  • Openness to working with frontend technologies, showing flexibility to adapt and contribute across the stack as needed;
  • Ability to interpret and transform functional specifications into intuitive, non-complex, and creative software solutions, ensuring user satisfaction;
  • Experience with designing software solutions, showcasing your ability to architect and implement high-quality features;
  • Ability to describe and document solutions, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding for team members and stakeholders;
  • Ability to work independently, managing tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision;
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, enabling effective collaboration within an international team.

Nice to Have
  • Hands-on experience with front-end technologies, demonstrating your capability to contribute to the user interface and bridge the gap between backend functionality and user-facing features;
  • Familiarity with automated testing practices and tools, demonstrating your ability to write and execute automated tests that improve software reliability and quality.
