Arche Consulting Sp. z o.o. is seeking a highly skilled Custody Settlement Expert to join our team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of securities markets and their functioning as a custodian.

As a Securities and Funds Settlement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely settlement of securities and fund transactions for our Swiss client.

  • You will coordinate settlement processes as a custodian, ensuring smooth transfer of securities portfolios between various financial institutions.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and track market changes that impact settlement processes.
  • Manage transfers of private hedge funds and investment funds, actively managing risk, and resolving exceptional transaction cases.
  • Collaborate with custodians and transfer agents to streamline settlement processes and enhance client satisfaction.
Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong understanding of securities markets and their functioning as a custodian.
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language (minimum C1).
  • Ability to effectively manage equities and fixed income products, and to conduct confirmation and transaction settlement processes.
  • Familiarity with corporate action processing and reconciliation practices.
  • Proven experience in securities settlement operations, including registration, instructing, and monitoring orders.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT communication protocols, especially in the context of settlement instructions.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Analytical thinking with an excellent ability to notice details and cope in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills necessary for effective collaboration both internally and with external stakeholders.
