Job Description
As a Junior QA Automation Engineer, you will work closely with our QA engineers and software developers to take care of the quality of our web applications. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying, analyzing, and reporting bugs to ensure thorough documentation and collaboration between QA engineers and software developers.
- Designing, maintaining, and executing manual tests for Egnyte's web applications.
- Pushing basic automation code and executing and monitoring tests in CI under supervision.
- Collaborating with other QA engineers, developers, UX specialists, and product owners to provide feedback regarding potential risks or dependencies and come up with alternative solutions.
- Voice your ideas and have a real impact on how we work and what we work on.
- Learn from your team members and share your knowledge with others.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 1 year of commercial experience in testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Postman.
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Ability to create effective test cases and execute them.
- Knowledge about testing methodologies (functional and non-functional).
- English skills that allow you to effectively communicate and perform your tasks.
- Passion for solving problems, improving things, and advocating for quality.
