About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BI Analyst to join our team at Kingfisher. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for delivering rapid and reliable data products that support business demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timelines to accomplish.
  • Develop data products that meet immediate, specific local requirements or build on existing Group data platform content to deliver new BI capabilities.
  • Liaise with Group Technology teams to secure reliable data sources, technologies, and tools needed to develop data products.
  • Continuously review processes, governance, and technology used to manage data from source applications/services to end consumers.
  • Report progress to senior stakeholders and business sponsors by operating and participating in key steering and governance committees.
Requirements
  • Excellent experience of ETL principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of data warehouse development and principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of Data Engineering Technologies such as SQL Server, Azure Data Lakes, IPAAS, Data Bricks, etc.
  • Experience in a scripting language such as T-SQL, Python.
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of other Microsoft Office products.
  • Analytical-minded and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
