Coberon is currently looking for a Procurement Specialist to join their team.

Job Type: Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office)

Reports to: Purchase Manager

Purpose of the role: The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring goods in a timely, cost-efficient, and compliant manner. They will develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, monitor compliance with agreements, and optimize purchase activities efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and checking compliance with agreements made by and with suppliers (40%); Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with assigned suppliers.
  • Requesting and comparing quotations; Conducting price negotiations with existing suppliers (25%).
  • Maintaining accurate records of article, assortment, and item information to ensure up-to-date stock positions and min/max levels (20%).
  • Supporting the Purchase Manager in optimizing purchase activities efficiently (5%).
  • Verifying receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered and resolving any errors in shipments with suppliers (5%).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in an international trading company, preferably in a packaging environment.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Analytical, negotiation, accuracy, and strong communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of English, spoken and written.
  • Communicative knowledge of English, spoken and written (Other EU languages are an asset).
  • Driving license (category B).
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
