Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Recognition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our global internal clients. Your primary focus will be on revenue recognition, including creating procedures, recognizing areas for enhancement, and introducing improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end process for served locations according to Bruker corporate policies.
  • Review, maintain, and validate status of orders process.
  • Ensure proper documentation in place (RRC).
  • Follow up on deferred revenue.
  • Extended warranty.
  • Post BS and P&L Reclasses.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of General Ledger/AR work experience required (experience with US GAAP revenue recognition preferred).
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in English (written and oral), other foreign language would be an asset.
  • Graduate with minimum of BSc. degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
  • Advanced computer proficiency with SAP ERP and MS Office Suite including Excel expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on and own initiatives while also collaborating within a team.
  • Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, then make clear and timely decisions.
  • Proactive with the ability to manage time-dependent critical processes.
  • Strong understanding of controls required within an accounting organization.
  • Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
