We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to fill a key role within our team at iTeamly.

About the Role

This senior-level position involves leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable backend solutions that meet our business needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features.
  • Mentoring junior developers, sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices in software development.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues, analyzing system performance, and implementing optimization strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in software development.

Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial software development, with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
  • A deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
  • Prior experience as a technical lead or similar role, with a proven track record of driving projects forward.
  • Familiarity with modern technologies such as event-driven architecture, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud, or ElasticSearch.
