About the Role

In this position, you will collaborate with Munich Re, the world's leading reinsurer, to support their modern technology requirements.

We operate in a DevOps culture, emphasizing continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and ownership of written code. Our infrastructure is based on Azure Cloud, with modern architecture using AKS and serverless applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the backend of applications using.NET 7/8, C#, or other relevant technologies.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, security, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Implement data storage solutions with SQL Server or other databases.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration and end-to-end system requirements.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Work in an international Scrum team.
Requirements
  • Fluency in English and Polish.
  • Experience in backend development using.NET, C#, or other relevant technologies.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of database design.
  • Familiarity with front-end languages and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Experience in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
