About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Project Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for leading finances for projects to improve overall project performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure focus on achieving financial goals
  • Ensure project calculations reflect current project status
  • Review and analyze estimated-at-completion calculations for budget, forecast, and actual
  • Review and analyze variances between budget, forecast, and actual figures and provide commentary in monthly reporting
  • Keep the project manager informed of financial project situation and upcoming risks and opportunities
  • Challenge project teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Optimize financial aspects of the project
  • Build and maintain successful cross-functional relationships
About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in controlling
  • Good understanding of finance and controlling processes and tools
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and SAP
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Team working
