Job Title: Mechanical Development Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Development Specialist to join our team at Antal Sp. z o.o.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Electric Driveline and/or Traditional (ICE) Driveline systems and components.
  • Implement Product Development Process (PDP) and Engineering Development Framework (EDF).
  • Understand and interpret component and sub-system design requirements.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and calculations for components and sub-systems.
  • Develop and maintain Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for components and sub-systems.
  • Create Assembly and Validation Procedure (ADVP) to validate components.
  • Produce technical design data, including 2D prints and 3D models using NX software.
  • Support Design Release Reviews (DRR) and produce work products aligned with program schedules.
  • Act as technical liaison for discussions with Program Managers, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Supplier Development Engineers.
  • Advocate for component reuse through familiarity with global component families.
  • Review and address internal and external change requests.
  • Provide technical support for component issues during validation or warranty stages.
  • Propose cost-saving measures within relevant component families.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience with EV Driveline and/or ICE Driveline systems is mandatory.
  • Proven expertise in creating and maintaining 2D/3D technical drawings and models using NX CAD software.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, development, validation, and release of components and/or subsystems.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain DFMEA.
  • Experience or training in Root Cause Analysis, APQP, DFM/DFA.
