Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Engineer to join our team. As a Java Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure cloud-based applications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building reusable components and modules that enable seamless integration across platforms.
  • Facilitating onboarding by automating tasks and ensuring a smooth integration experience.
  • Ensuring platform security by safeguarding our systems and data.
  • Contributing to the continuous development of our cloud platform.
  • Championing change by proposing improvements and enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with database systems (relational or NoSQL).
  • Understanding of network protocols.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and AuthZ/AuthN mechanisms (especially OAuth2).
  • Familiarity with distributed systems architecture and principles.
  • Proficiency in Linux command line operations.
  • Proficiency in Git for version control.
  • Experience with Docker containerization.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of high-quality code principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, hexagonal architecture).
  • Experience with O/R mapping frameworks.
  • Experience with basic shell scripting (e.g. bash).
