Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Java Engineer to join our team. As a Java Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure cloud-based applications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building reusable components and modules that enable seamless integration across platforms.
- Facilitating onboarding by automating tasks and ensuring a smooth integration experience.
- Ensuring platform security by safeguarding our systems and data.
- Contributing to the continuous development of our cloud platform.
- Championing change by proposing improvements and enhancements.
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with database systems (relational or NoSQL).
- Understanding of network protocols.
- Knowledge of security best practices and AuthZ/AuthN mechanisms (especially OAuth2).
- Familiarity with distributed systems architecture and principles.
- Proficiency in Linux command line operations.
- Proficiency in Git for version control.
- Experience with Docker containerization.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of high-quality code principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, hexagonal architecture).
- Experience with O/R mapping frameworks.
- Experience with basic shell scripting (e.g. bash).
