The Job Overview

This role will focus on managing material management processes to ensure they meet specific requirements regarding quantity, place, time, kind, and quality.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Develop and implement effective material supply plans
  2. Foster strong relationships with suppliers
  3. Manage master data, including pricing and conditions; gather necessary data and create new business partner profiles in the system; and initiate purchasing orders
  4. Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers aligned with technical specifications
  5. Process orders (either automatic or manual) with an eye on optimal inventory turnover
  6. Verify and track timely deliveries
  7. Generate comprehensive reports detailing material stock, procurement data, material requisitions, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  8. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to faulty deliveries
  9. Coordinate logistics, collections, and clearances
  10. Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers
  11. Support the optimization of material management processes and policies
  12. Support ongoing efforts to enhance supplier engagement
  13. Perform annual supplier assessments
