We are looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant Manager to lead our AP team in Warsaw. This exciting opportunity will allow you to build a new SSC structure and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

About Our Company

Our company is a global leader in the industry, renowned for its innovative products. We maintain an office in Mokotów, Warsaw and operate in a hybrid model, spending 3 days per week in the office.

The Job Description

  1. Supervise a team of accountants and senior accountants (8-10 FTEs)
  2. Guarantee alignment with SLAs and monitor KPIs
  3. Maintain effective communication with internal and external auditors, customers, finance business partners, and stakeholders
  4. Oversee daily workload management and support the AP Manager in team development, career planning, and recruitment
  5. Provide technical assistance to team members when necessary
  6. Ensure seamless coordination with other departments (AR/GL/Treasury) and adherence to the period-end closing calendar

The Successful Candidate

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business Administration or related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Accounts Payable gained from SSC/BPO structures, including 2 years in a leadership role
  3. Proven track record of leading teams of 5+ FTEs
  4. Hands-on experience with SAP
  5. Background in SSC transition/knowledge transfer is a plus
  6. Native fluency in English; proficiency in Polish and other European languages is an advantage
