We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team in Poland, focusing on electric drive technology. The successful candidate will develop and maintain our sales strategy to improve market penetration and achieve growth targets.
The role requires in-depth market and specialist knowledge of the motor and drive technology industry, as well as strong negotiation and presentation skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in team management and be able to coach and develop employees to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze customer needs and monitor competitors based on general market information and sales force feedback.
- Lead the sales team and drive people development within the organization.
- Assist customers in identifying technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and develop competitive proposals.
- Set product prices in close coordination with manufacturing plants according to local market needs.
- Evaluate and implement efficient marketing efforts and communicate value propositions to customers.
- Represent ABB's Motion portfolio at trade fairs and events.
- Document all activities, planning, and follow-ups in central CRM tools and internal systems.
- Higher technical education in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Control and Automation, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in sales management of products and system solutions, preferably in electric drive technology.
- Category B driving license and willingness to business travel.
- Very good written and spoken Polish and English language.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP is advantageous, good knowledge of MS Office.
- Cooperative and solution-oriented working style, negotiation skills, very good presentation and communication skills.
