As a Cloud Application Developer at Cognizant Tech Solutions, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and operating cloud environments for our clients. You will be responsible for developing and deploying scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud architectures that meet the needs of our clients, leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using languages like Python and JavaScript, and databases like SQL and BigQuery.
  • Maintain and improve existing cloud environments to ensure high performance, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud development, preferably with GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP services, including Cloud SQL, VPC, Resource Manager, StackDriver, and Cloud IAM.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
