Financial Specialist: Invoicing and Collections Expert

GetResponse is a leading SaaS company recognized for its innovative email marketing and marketing automation software. We're seeking an experienced Financial Specialist to join our finance team in Poland.

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing sales invoicing, monitoring accounts receivable, handling collections, and collaborating with external agencies for debt recovery. Your strong background in finance and accounting, combined with excellent organizational skills and process improvement expertise, will enable you to implement efficient solutions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issuing timely and accurate sales invoices;
  • Monitoring account balances and ensuring prompt payments;
  • Maintaining detailed documentation related to transactions and client settlements;
  • Initiating collection actions in cases of payment delays;
  • Collaborating with external debt collection and legal firms regarding complex cases;
  • Preparing comprehensive reports on accounts receivable status and analyzing clients' payment history;
  • Reviewing and preparing reports on deferred revenues and bad debt write-offs in accordance with company policy;
  • Participating in monthly and annual book-closing processes, including preparing audit documentation;
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in receivables management processes to enhance efficiency and shorten the collection cycle;
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations;
  • Managing partner program settlements;
  • Overseeing and executing payments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial department, particularly in accounts receivable;
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with online banking systems;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and a creative approach to challenges;
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results;
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and understanding of office procedures;
  • Fluent English language skills (B2 level).
