As a Web Designer II at Box, you will play a critical role in maintaining, enhancing, and designing web modules. You will collaborate with the engineering and production team to create new modules using low and high fidelity prototypes when needed.

You will participate in the full project lifecycle from ideation, wire-framing, production, to handoff and launch. You will work cross-functionally with our teams in EMEA to create and adapt brand assets for local markets.

You will collaborate with designers to create graphics and illustrations for webpages that meet brand standards and requirements. You will use Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud design apps to produce high-quality visual assets within project timelines.

You will ensure all designs are consistent with brand guidelines while also exploring new creative directions when appropriate. You will stay up-to-date on industry trends related to web design, including emerging technologies like SVG animations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a web design-related discipline or related field of study + 3 years of experience OR 4+ years relevant professional experience
  • Positive attitude, high energy, and passion for creating effective, solution-oriented work
  • Exercise quality assurance and strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of UX best practices
  • Ability to work solo and demonstrated ability collaborating with small and large teams
  • Fluency in English
  • Expert user of design software tools Figma and Adobe professional design apps
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript is preferred but not required
  • Evidence of excellent communication and collaboration
  • Ability to work solo and demonstrated ability collaborating with small and large teams
  • Virtual event experience is a plus
  • Motion design skills, including After Effects and animated GIFs, a plus

What You'll Do

Who You Are
