About the Role

TüV Rheinland is seeking a highly skilled IT Application Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and configuring application functions and processes, collaborating with business users and vendors, and creating and maintaining interfaces for integration with our core platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and configure application functions and processes, including workflows, wizards, and reports
  • Collaborate with business users and vendors to ensure seamless integration and support
  • Create and maintain interfaces for integration with TüV Rheinland core platforms, including SAP and Microsoft
  • Provide 2nd Level Support, analyzing and coordinating the fixing of bugs and unexpected behavior
  • Support training and end-user testing
  • Document deliverables

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Studies, Business Studies in combination with IT, or relevant practical expertise
  • Proven understanding of IT software landscapes
  • Fast learning attitude
  • Able to understand complex IT topics
  • Understanding of collaboration tools like Jira
  • Knowledge of English, German is an advantage
  • Knowledge of XML is an advantage
