Job Title: IT Applications Analyst Position

Caterpillar is seeking a skilled IT Applications Analyst to strengthen our global team of IT professionals at our Sosnowiec facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data analysis and process optimization, as well as programming expertise in VBA and SQL.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities within existing processes
  • Develop end-to-end process automation solutions
  • Assist departmental customers with IT-related issues
  • Document effective IT solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to current tools
  • Develop metrics and dashboards for multiple purchasing groups
  • Work directly with customers to analyze data and provide insights
  • Independently assess process efficiency in terms of data flow
