About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Development Specialist to join our team at Procter & Gamble. In this role, you will collaborate with our development teams to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using JavaScript, Vue.js, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions using Azure Cloud and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using JavaScript, Vue.js, and other relevant technologies.
  • Participate in the configuration and troubleshooting of application components in a cloud environment.
  • Contribute to the creation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Help in release management activities, including coordinating and tracking software releases, managing release documentation, and supporting the deployment process.
  • Utilize scripting skills to automate tasks and streamline processes.
  • Support development teams with day-to-day tasks, including access management, simple administration, and ticket support.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud services, with a focus on Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Basic programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, SQL.
  • Familiarity with networking principles and protocols.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and their implementation.
  • Basic understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems and command-line usage.
  • Ability to script and automate tasks using scripting languages.
  • Demonstrated understanding of application design principles and best practices.
  • REST API/GraphQL architecture.
