Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Katowice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality financial services to our clients, including financial reporting, account reconciliation, and other accounting tasks.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial reports in accordance with HGB, IFRS or US GAAP;
  • Process accounting data into our accounting system;
  • Perform different reconciliations as requested;
  • Monitor payment transactions;
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve accounting and tax issues;
  • Communicate regularly with clients and colleagues;
  • Prepare routine correspondence.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of accounting and tax regulations. They should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • At least 3 years of accounting experience;
  • A degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and tax legislations;
  • German Gaap knowledge is an advantage;
  • Experience with DATEV software is preferred;
  • Fluency in English and German (spoken and written);
  • Basic MS Office package skills;
