Overview

Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Emergency Call Handling team in Krakow. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our mission-critical platform, leveraging your expertise in software engineering, architecture, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the implementation of new features and technologies, driving innovation and improvement in our platform.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on architecture and technical leadership.
  • Practical knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and REST APIs.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
