Job Title: Cloud Automation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Automation Specialist to join our team in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to streamline cloud operations, enhance efficiency, and improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive plan to automate manual tasks and increase operational efficiency in cloud environments.
  • Partner with vendors to enable Boeing app teams to implement automated workflows and scripts for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Assist developers with CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment within the private cloud environment.
  • Develop automated monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify performance issues and security vulnerabilities.
  • Create automated governance processes to enforce compliance with security policies and cost management practices.
  • Design and develop user-friendly portals to enable end-users to independently manage cloud resources.
  • Create custom script templates and tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance cloud administration.
  • Integrate cloud services and tools to ensure smooth data flow and coordination.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot automation-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience in automation technologies and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with private cloud environments (e.g., OpenStack, VMware).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles and cloud security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with VMware hypervisor, Kurbernetes container technology stacks such as Tanzu and RedHat OpenShift, Infrastructure as a Service and Infrastructure as Code methodology.

Important Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in POLAND. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Poland. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
