About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Reporting to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead our resource management reporting function and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive reports on resource management data, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insightfulness. They will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the effective delivery of resource management information and continuous improvement of RM reporting tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver reports on resource management data, including demand, supply, actual hours, and supporting portfolio data
  • Collate and analyze data returned by functions, providing actionable insights to support resource management decisions
  • Work closely with Resource Managers and Resource Management Leads to develop a consistent approach for requesting improvements to RM tools and reports
  • Act as a point of contact for the PPM/DDAP reporting team on behalf of the RM function, ensuring change requests are included in the change control process and prioritized as necessary
  • Lead the continuous improvement of RM tools and processes, utilizing resources from across the organization
  • Develop a framework that enables continuous improvement in RM reporting tools and processes
  • Develop communication and training materials associated with Resource Management principles, processes, and tools
  • Lead training sessions to ensure stakeholders are well-versed in RM processes and tools

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in R&D with relevant experience in implementing global resource management frameworks
  • Experience with various data analysis/reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Spotfire, PowerBI)
  • Ability to design data and visuals effectively for audiences at varied levels within an organization
  • Proven ability to operate at multiple levels across the organization and successfully achieve complex business outcomes
  • PMP or similar certification is desirable
  • Analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required
