InPost is a dynamic and innovative organization in the e-commerce and logistics industry. We are seeking an experienced Data Science Optimization Expert to join our team in optimizing the deployment and management of machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective data science strategies, including infrastructure management and automation.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of ML models, from experimentation and training to deployment and monitoring, considering industry-specific needs.
  • Establish and maintain coding and deployment standards for data science projects.
  • Create scalable tooling and infrastructure used across the Data & AI team.
  • Collaborate closely with data science, data engineering, and data consulting teams.

What We Need From You:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, such as Machine Learning Engineer, MLOps, or Data Scientist.
  • Proficiency in Python 3, as well as ML and data processing libraries.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
  • Knowledge of ML models life cycle and management using tools like mlflow.
  • Experience in leveraging CI/CD pipelines in data-based products.
  • Experience with data pipelines frameworks, preferably Kedro.
  • Proficiency in CLI tools, such as bash/zsh.
  • Experience in writing tests.
  • Experience with big data processing using Spark.
  • Proficiency in English and Polish (spoken and written).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Databricks.
  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Schedulers like Airflow/Prefect.
  • LLMs and RAGs.
  • Fastapi/Django/Flask.
