At Siemens Gamesa, we are at the forefront of tackling the climate crisis, reducing carbon emissions, and shaping a sustainable future. We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our Offshore Execution HSE Advisory team.

About the Role

As an HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the site management team in ensuring the safe execution of our Offshore Wind Farm Projects. You will provide leadership, promote responsible attitudes towards HSE, and implement best practices to maintain the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively support the site management team in planning and executing works, ensuring a safe and sufficient system of work is in place.
  • Interface with internal workforce and third-party contractors to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in HSE audits and assessments, both internal and external.
  • Develop and implement HSE training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a recognized HSE qualification, such as NEBOSH International General Certificate, and at least 2 years of experience as a HSE Professional in the field of Wind Turbine Construction or maintenance. A higher-level professional HSE qualification is desired.

You will also need excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
