Job Overview

This role is responsible for providing business support for external procurement, overseeing finance vendor processes, and ensuring effective governance of outsourcing initiatives in Supply Chain Management and Finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Support for External Procurement:
    • Support the team with understanding and implementing processes for external procurement, vendor onboarding, payments, and engagement requirements.
    • Work with the group service provider to provide training and support to stakeholders across multiple countries, ensuring front-to-back oversight of processes from engagement request to purchase orders and payments.
    • Monitor, review, and mitigate risks associated with non-outsourcing procurement in accordance with the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework.
  • Finance Vendor Processes:
    • Maintain a record of CFO logs for payments and provide support to the finance team with accruals and reclassifications.
    • Serve as the local contact point for finance-related topics such as travel, travel costs, and travel policy.
    • Coordinate the invoice payment process, oversee work by Accounts Payable, and act as an escalation point to ensure timely vendor payments.
    • Perform processes for paying and tracking direct debits and invoices.
    • Track external procurements (non-outsourcing).
  • Outsourcing Governance for Supply Chain Management and Finance:
    • Complete Requester Led Procurement where applicable for the Finance team.
    • Coordinate with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team for SCM-related initiatives.
    • Provide oversight and KPI monitoring for the services provided by the regional SCM Governance team and ensure effective end-to-end management of third-party risk.
    • Work with the Finance Team and Outsourcing 1st Line Team to ensure all Service Level Agreements within Finance are subject to appropriate oversight, demonstrating control and monitoring in line with local regulatory requirements.
  • Outsourcing Budget/Cost Governance:
    • Support budget tracking and improve cost controlling relating to intra-group and external outsourcings across the business.
  • Improve Vendor Engagement:
    • Be the point of contact for external vendors and track new services available on the market that can be useful for the Bank.
    • Support the business in negotiating pricing and other service conditions with vendors where the engagement is below the minimum cap for SCM involvement.
