Job Summary

The Biogen Idec Sponsorship and Engagement Specialist role is focused on supporting the External Stakeholder Engagement (ESE) and Sponsorship processes. This includes performing structured work assignments, utilizing existing procedures and guidelines to solve routine problems, and providing operational guidance and administrative support to ensure on-time execution of external stakeholder engagements and sponsorship requests.

Responsibilities
  • Support Engagement Owners and Sponsorship Owners with the end-to-end process within the ESE and SGG tools from submission to closure.
  • Maintain electronic records, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure timely completion of transactions.
  • Resolves problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You should also have 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced administration or operational role, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additionally, experience in partnering and collaborating with cross-functional teams, strong customer service, organizational skills, and experience with managing a process are highly desirable.
