About Senior Product Manager Role

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager to spearhead significant product initiatives from early conceptual formation through go-to-market execution.

You will own a substantial portion of the product roadmap in partnership with the VP of Product Management and other Product Managers, working closely with UI/UX, Sales and Product Marketing to understand customer needs and market demands. Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, an innovative mindset, and experience with greenfield product requirement development in pursuit of delivering delightful experiences and innovative solutions to the market.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Leadership
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA partners in an agile environment to develop and execute product roadmaps efficiently.
  • Own and manage a portion of the product roadmap, partnering closely with the VP of Product Management and other Product Managers.
  • Manage product delivery from POC to ongoing releases, resolve technical issues, and meet committed timelines organization-wide.
Product Development
  • Define product performance and effectiveness metrics.
  • Focus on greenfield product requirement development to create innovative solutions for new market opportunities.
  • Translate product vision into actionable requirements, guiding execution to ensure high quality and on-time delivery.
Market Insights
  • Work closely with Sales and Product Marketing to gather market insights and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support senior leadership in evaluating market opportunities and defining product strategy, especially in the UCC (Unified Communication & Collaboration) space.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
  • 7+ years in a Product Management role for a B2B or B2C software technology company, with an emphasis on SaaS preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading the delivery of innovative greenfield product initiatives to market.
  • Proven experience in greenfield product development, including gathering, defining or refining requirements for new initiatives.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.

Core Skills:

  • Ability to apply frameworks and think critically to inform prioritization.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to translate product vision into well-documented and actionable requirements, ensuring alignment between cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to inform product decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead multiple, complex projects.
Role Progression

First 30 Days: Deep Dive & Assess

  • Immerse yourself in the product portfolio, understanding the vision, roadmaps, technical frameworks, and key initiatives.
  • Assess current product requirement development processes, with a particular focus on the definition of greenfield feature requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and leadership to align with the company's strategic vision.

Around 60 Days: Refine & Align

  • Leverage insights from your initial assessment to refine product strategies and align with business goals.
  • Begin executing key initiatives, ensuring smooth collaboration with engineering, UI/UX, and QA teams.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Product Marketing to gather market data that informs strategic decisions.

By 90 Days: Lead with Strategy

  • Take full ownership of your portion of the product roadmap, driving forward new requirements and ensuring alignment with long-term objectives.
  • Lead greenfield product feature development initiatives, delivering innovative solutions to the market.
  • Continue partnering with the VP of Product Management and other Product Managers to ensure strategic cohesion across the portfolio.
