Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Controls Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining authentication control policies and procedures to ensure the protection of sensitive data and systems.
  • You will monitor authentication control activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and report on this by introducing relevant Key Control Indicators (KCI's).
  • This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Cybersecurity, IT, and business units, to ensure authentication control strategies align with organisational goals and requirements.
  • You will manage the authentication control lifecycle activities, including authentication credential generation, distribution, storage, use, and destruction.
  • In addition, you will support the Business in ensuring IDAM control outcomes are met for IT Assets/Services.
  • You will provide a streamlined experience for key stakeholders across 3LOD for the management, monitoring, and reporting of control effectiveness for IT Assets/Services.
  • As a Subject Matter Expertise on Group control operation, you will ensure residual risk is managed.
  • You will understand and execute against the design and operation of the IDAM Control Exceptions (ICE) process and tooling.
  • Maintaining operating effectiveness and residual risk of IT Assets/Services is also part of your responsibilities.
  • You will work with key stakeholders to produce detailed functional and non-functional requirements for enhancements to control processes and tooling.
  • Supporting the business with the use of control tools, including triage of queries, troubleshooting, and training, is another aspect of your role.
  • Continuously and proactively seeking to enhance, streamline, and automate processes where possible is essential.

Requirements:

  • Cyber Security and IAM experience on controls, including experience in supporting IAM change initiatives to deliver successful control outcomes, is required.
  • Techincal and architectural skills are desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience of making timely and rational decisions based on relevant information is necessary.
  • Role-relevant qualifications such as CISSP/CISM/CISA is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience of working in an Identity and Access Management Controls function is required.
  • Experience of working with internal and external auditors and regulators is also necessary.
  • Strong data analytical skills to review different application feeds and ability to analyse data and produce detailed management MI (management information) are required.
  • Strong process mapping skills and accountability for deliverables with proven track record of delivering on schedule are also important.
