Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our Regional Controlling organisation in the DACH region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP, statutory and tax requirements in countries within scope.

Responsibilities
  • Support the controlling team in executing US GAAP, statutory and tax accounting, including hands-on preparation of financial statements and reporting for DACH region entities.
  • E nsure adherence to processes and procedures, internal and external audit requirements, and local rules and regulations.
  • Strengthen financial processes and controls by cooperating with finance and non-finance teams, as well as external providers, in end-to-end finance processes.
  • Participate in resolving complex accounting and tax issues.
  • Take part in local, regional, and global projects, advocating for the finance function.
  • Maintain focus on continuous process improvement.
Requirements
  • Experienced Accountant with 5 years of professional experience in statutory accounting, tax advisory, external audits, and financial statements.
  • Knowledge of local GAAPs for countries in scope, and expertise in tax matters (US GAAP knowledge is an asset).
  • Analyst with excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible, and "can do" mindset.
  • Fluent English and German speaker.
  • Advanced reporting tools User, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (JDE, Blackline, and W-Desk are advantageous).
  • In terms of education, Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or part qualified/qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statutory accounting, tax advisory, external audits, and financial statements, with excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible, and "can do" mindset. Fluency in English and German is essential, and advanced reporting tools skills, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are advantageous.
