Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Biologist to join our team in Krakow, Poland. As a key member of our cell and molecular biology department, you will play a vital role in Drug Discovery processes, conducting experiments and analyzing results to drive innovation.

Your expertise will be applied to Structure-Activity Relationship studies and testing of drug substances and products in the GMP environment for biotech and pharma companies worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze biological results and draw conclusions regarding their activity.
  • Design and conduct experiments using eukaryotic cell lines.
  • Run cell line banks and mycoplasma tests.
  • Implement new research methods and protocols to meet current needs.
Requirements
  • MSc or Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in laboratory work in academic units or companies in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
  • Familiarity with standard tests, such as cytotoxicity, and Western blot analysis.
  • Expertise in cell culture and primary cells in vitro.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Active participation in task performance and problem-solving attitude.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.

Estimated salary: 35,000 - 50,000 PLN per month (approximately 8,300 - 12,000 USD) depending on experience.
