Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technology, risk, and cyber security maturity reviews, as well as assessing processes, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing security measures to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements
  • Oversee the analysis and documentation of security incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
  • Manage internal security initiatives, provide expert consultation, and drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and senior management to gain consensus on security initiatives and obtain necessary approvals
  • Report, draw conclusions, and recommendations from review studies
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Consult on adequate measures to fulfill information security requirements
  • Provide 2nd Opinion on Risk Assessments (Third-Party Risk, Project Risk, Information Security Risk)
Requirements
  • Fluency in English
  • Degree in computer science/business informatics or a comparable degree or completed further education or training in the field
  • Knowledge in the fields of IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure, IT Applications, IT Projects, IT Security, or IT incidents/problems
  • Basic information security/risk management knowledge
  • Insurance industry experience is an advantage
