About the Role

At Appfire, we're seeking a highly skilled Security Audit Compliance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our organization's compliance with various security regulations, standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough security audits to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations, such as SOC2, ISO27001:2022, and FedRamp.
  • Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and recommending remediation strategies.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities, audit findings, and remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, DevOps, and information security teams to ensure alignment on compliance initiatives.
  • Prepare and present audit findings and compliance reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and revision of security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in security auditing, compliance, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM, are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, including NIST and ISO.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
