Data Solutions Architect Specialist

We are looking for a seasoned Data Solutions Architect Specialist to join our team at b2bnetwork.

The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on the location and experience.

Job Description:

This role involves designing, building, and maintaining near real-time payment data flows, including data integrations. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of event-based platforms, data mapping, and data modeling.

You will work closely with developers and engineers to properly document your design and solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for requirements documentation (incl. use cases) and quality improvement.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring new standard solutions for data archive and search meet business requirements and comply with target data architecture and regulatory requirements (retention, access models, lineage, and quality)
  • Interacting with product owners and stakeholders to clarify, elicit, and translate requirements into implementation specifications
  • Consolidating requirements (functional and non-functional) by cooperating with different stakeholders in a complex environment
  • Designing and supporting the building and maintaining near real-time payment data flows, including data integrations
  • Data mapping, data modeling, solution design, and working with Information architects
  • Performing quantitative data analysis to understand identified issues and explain implications and recommend solutions
  • Collaborating with developers and engineers and properly documenting your design and solutions
  • Be responsible for requirements documentation (incl. use cases) and quality improvement
  • Accessing complex and distributed datasets and performing statistical analysis
  • Write documentation accordingly to standards
  • Work in an agile setup
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of payment data and different message types within the area
  • Knowledge of event-based platforms
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong solution design skills
  • Strong implementing standard applications skills
  • Knowledge of GDPR, Financial Crime
  • Knowledge of a solution called xTrail from Intix
