Job Requirements

We're looking for a talented Technical Writer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a Technical Writer, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality technical content that meets the needs of our global audience.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about content creation and has excellent writing and communication skills. You'll be working closely with subject matter experts and other project stakeholders to gather information and transform it into engaging content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create technical content that is accurate, concise, and easy to understand.
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather information and create content that meets the needs of our global audience.
  • Use established content development guidelines, tool, and process guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with new authoring tools and processes to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Identify and escalate potential project risks to ensure timely completion.
About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Demonstrated documentation usability knowledge that can be applied at a project level.
  • Experience with structured authoring and/or information modeling, including DITA and XML.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of content formats (HTML, XML) and experience with content management systems.
  • Experience working with JIRA or a comparable bug tracking tool.
